A Perichronic továbbá e képek a megszokottnál sokkal szabadabb értelmezését teszi lehetõvé, azáltal, hogy leválasztja õket a szövegrõl, melyekhez korábban illusztrációként szolgáltak. A verbális magyarázat hiánya erõsíti a képek kijelentõ jellegét de ugyanakkor sokkal szélesebb interpretációs mezõt nyit körülöttük. Az éves távlatból idézett és magyarázatuktól megfosztott képek, tehát megnyílnak a perispekuláris kíváncsiság számára.

Perichronic is an artistic publication that processes news with a one year delay.

Perichronic puts the emphasis on information conveyed through pictures which we call (after Deleuze) percepts and affects.

We discovered that the pictures published daily by the leading news sources are not only meaning what their conveyers mean by them. Consequently, these images deserve further consideration, evaluation, understanding and respect, in one word: more periwonder from our part.

All what is „covered” (sic!) by the media seems to come to our knowledge instantly, but in fact it necessarily comes later, as a successive phase. Anyway, there is a need for a certain detachment in time (what we call perichronic distance) in order to make us able to more objectively, more ethically, more philosophically, more scientifically and more sensibly evaluate, what we „normally” are offered to see and forget so fast according to our everyday news consumption habits. The placing of these pictures at a perichronistic distance (of one year) lets us maximalise our endeavour to better understand and evaluate them.

By separating them from the texts to which they initially have served as illustrations Perichronic enables us to read these images much more freely. Without the verbal explanation these images acquire a more enunciative status and at the same time they offer themselves to a much wider set of interpretations. In other words they open up to our perispecular curiosity.
